This exhibition is one of the world's famous metallurgical exhibitions and has become the largest metallurgical and steel industry exhibition in Russia. It is held once a year and the organizer is the Russian Metal Exhibition Company. The exhibition attracted more than 780 exhibitors from more than 35 countries or regions, with an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters and more than 40,000 professional visitors. The exhibition includes two parts: "Metallurgical Exhibition" and "Non-ferrous Metals Exhibition". In 2013, it was expanded to all metal smelting, mining and related raw material addition and auxiliary industries, metallurgical casting, castings, pipes and wires, metal processing, etc.
